I am an Iowa City area native with a lifetime of local experience and knowledge, along with a solid network of contacts. As your Realtor®, I’ll use my eye for detail, passion for helping others, and naturally enthusiastic nature to thoughtfully guide you through the buying and selling process as you move toward your goals.

Real estate allows me to utilize my background in education and leading others towards positive outcomes.  I enjoy focusing my energy and work ethic by combining my talents for careful listening and observation, my interest in helping others, and my natural ability for hunting down the best options (be it the perfect house or the savviest marketing strategy). Helping people buy and sell houses is an ever-changing, always-interesting career.

My husband, David and I live on the east side of Iowa City with our four children. With degrees in both Journalism and Secondary English Education from Iowa State University, I have worked professionally as both a newspaper reporter and a teacher at Regina Catholic Education Center. During my time at home with our children, I also taught group fitness  classes and managed a fitness studio. As an active member of the community, I volunteer extensively with the Red Cross as a team lead for Johnson County and surrounding areas.  The Farber family can often be found outside exploring, hiking, biking, and enjoying many of the unique cultural and entertainment opportunities the greater Iowa City area provides.
