Ryan was born and raised in the Quad Cites. He graduated from Western Illinois University and graduate school at St. Ambrose University while also working as an assistant football coach.

Ryan was licensed in real estate in the state of Iowa & Illinois in 1998 where he was also named rookie of the year.

Ryan moved to the Iowa City area in 2007 to get married. Since then he also worked for a couple local companies such as Rockwell Collins where he negotiated long term contracts with companies such as Siemens, GE, and Etc. Through all the classes and experience in negotiating he has learned that the one more prepared wins 90% of negotiations.

Ryan decided to leave the corporate world in 2013 to practice real estate full time again because he felt his clients deserved his full time attention. He believes in honesty, ethics, and doing what you say you're going to do.

Ryan currently resides in Coralville with his wife of eight years, Michelle, and his two sons, Cullen(6) & Owen(2)
